
Donna fell into the Chip Truck business by chance. After a 25 year career as a dental assistant, life threw her a curve ball. She was given a chance to reflect on life, and decided it was time for a career change.
Her neighbor owned a chip truck and she started working for her, from there, she ran Jerry VanBeeks Fish and Chips and in 2018, she opened up Reel Em In Fish and Chips.
Our fish batter is a recipe Donna created in 2014, and has tweaked to crispy, golden perfection. Our creamy coleslaw and tartar sauce, are also homemade secret recipes.
In 2018, Donna also introduced a Gluten Free batter option for our fish, which has also been tweaked to crispy, golden perfection. We have a dedicated fryer for the Gluten Free, and our fries are never cross-fried.
Fries are fresh cut daily from local Ontario potatoes.
